Bio

Bend ZAA je osnovan u februaru 2008. godine u Kruševcu (Srbija).

Iza sebe imaju gotovo 250 nastupa u gradovima širom bivše Jugoslavije, a svirali su i u Austriji, Češkoj i Mađarskoj. Godine 2016. zahvaljujući nastupu ZAA u emisiji Tri boje zvuka, Sanju Vučić, vokal benda, odabrao je tim Radio televizije Srbije, da predstavlja Srbiju na Evrosongu, gde se plasirala u finale, osvojivši  18. mesto i brojne simpatije publike širom Evrope.

ZAA  je prepoznatljiv po originalnim i energičnim nastupima, koje odlikuju upečatljivi plesni ritmovi u kombinaciji sa znalačkim improvizacijama. Njihov autentični izraz koji čini miks različitih stilova – od ska i daba, do post roka, džeza i panka, čini ZAA jedinstvenom muzičkom pojavom na ovim prostorima.

Bend je nastupao na brojnim festivalima u Srbiji, poput Exit-a, Supernatural-a, Arsenal fest-a, Nisville-a, Love fest-a, a među brojnim natupima u regionu izdvajaju se: Lent i Overjam festivali u Sloveniji, Skopje Design Week i Prilep beer fest u Makedoniji, Lake fest u Nikšiću, Demofest u Banjaluci, NGOM festival u Prizrenu, Skaville festival u Šibeniku, kao i nastup u zagrebačkom Domu sportova.

ZAA su do sada objavili tri studijska albuma:

Dvostruki singl Full Scale Riot/Moonlight (2011) i EP Foot by Foot (2012)

Poslednji studijski album What About objavila je izdavačka kuća Lampshade media i dostupan je za praslušavanje putem Deezer-a, iTunes-a i Spotify-a.

Band ZAA was founded in the end of February in the year 2008 in Krusevac (Serbia).

They have had about 250 performances in cities throughout the former Yugoslavia, and they also performed in Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary. In 2016, thanks to ZAA’s appearance on the TV show “Tri boje zvuka”, SanjaVucic, vocalist of the band, was selected by Radio Television of Serbia to represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest. She performed at the Grand Finals and placed 18th out of the 26 participating countries and won sympathy of the audience throughout Europe.

From the critics they were rated as concert attraction, and they are recognizable by their original and energetic performances, which are characterized by distinct dance rhythms in combination with skillful improvisation. And regarding their unique sound, it’s characterized by authentic musical genres which represent the crossover between the variety of styles from ska music and dub, to post-rock, jazz and punk, and that is what makes ZAA unique.

In the very beginning of their carrier, in 2010, ZAA have made it to the regional finals of the prestigious European festival Rototom.

The band has performed in numerous festivals in Serbia, like Exit, Supernatural, Arsenal fest, Nisville, Love fest, and amongst the numerous performances in the region, the ones standing out are: Lent and Overjam festivals in Slovenia, Skopje Design Week and Prilep Beer Fest in Macedonia, Lake fest in Niksic, Demofest in Banjaluka, NGOM festival in Prizren, Skaville festival in Sibenik, and performances in Dom sportova in Zagreb.
